CHARGES ARE BASED ON SERVICES THAT ARE PROVIDED.
MILEAGE IS ONLY CHARGED IF TRANSPORTED.
MEDICARE WILL NOT PAY IF A PATIENT CALLS AN AMBULANCE AND REFUSES TO BE TRANSPORTED TO A HOSPITAL OR IS TRANSPORTED TO A DOCTOR'S OFFICE.
PATIENTS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE BILLS.
EMS Base Charges:
ALS Treatment with No Transport: $150
(IV, EKG (12 lead), Medication, Blood Draw)
BLS Treatment No Transport: Free
(Vitals, Splinting, D Stick, Monitor, Bandage)
Free Services:
Vitals taken in a sporting event or motor vehicle accident when patient is not
treated or transported.
EKG to confirm death and no other treatment is provided.
