Current Recreation Programs and Special Events
The recreation department relies a lot on a strong volunteer base to help provide the programs we offer. The GCRD hopes to eventually expand the programs offered to better serve the community.
Here is a list of current programs offered:
- Youth Basketball: Ages 7-15 October-February
- Youth Little League/T-Ball/Softball: Ages 5-16 March/April-June
- Youth Football: Ages 6-13 August-October
- Adult Softball: Age 17 Snowbird June-August
- Soccer: Ages 3-17 Fall Season Pending
- Youth Cheering: Ages 5-13 August-October
- Youth Volleyball (Girls only): Ages 7-13 August-September
- Annual Heritage Festival: Week of July 4th
